143 pages, frontis, light fade to jacket spine, minor edge wear to jacket, inscribed by the author. Laid in is a typed and signed letter from Hyde dated 1949 saying that "These Injun book collectors are driving him mad." He also says that he may be getting Major Reno's cavalry sash worn in the battle of the Little Big Horn from a museum in Germany but it has to be smuggled out of the Red Zone, and a horse shoe 7th Cavalry, Custer Battlefield, 1876 on a copper plate set into the shoe. "A prize." This printing limited to 500 copies. Originally published in 1933 in an edition of 50 copies. Much on the Comanches, Apaches and Kiowas, Texas, Indian fights, etc. Howes 861, Rader 1998.
