N.D. (1908) Original pictorial wraps, 189 pages, ads, illustrations, minor edge wear, interior page edges darkened, outer covers has had a protective sealant applied at some time which has slightly darkened the covers but the colors are still very bright. Overall a very nice copy considering how cheaply it was produced. "Fred White Senior notes that this edition was no doubt sold on railroad trains. Printed on the cheapest newsprint, a miracle it survived." Chapters include The Kow King's Ranch, The Cattle Thieves, Chasing the Cattle Thieves, Battle with the Cattle Thieves, Captured by the Bandits and Rescued by the Cowboys, Fight with the Indians, The Prairie Fire, etc." D. Sloan. Herd 1357, Rader 1826. Rare item, Tal Luther listed a copy in 1976, no other records.
